I'm so very sad that I won't hear John's soft, kind voice again. He had the ability to lift your spirits, to turn a humdrum day into a day filled with wonder and joy about the world around you. He made me feel like a friend, even though I was only his patient. He never judged and he always listened. He was a truly lovely man, not to mention the best dentist who I trusted implicitly.
