John, spending time in your company was always an event, whether in the practice for a check up, a BBQ or curry night…..An infectious energy, enthusiasm and excitement, be it planning a sleep out in a Bivvvi bag at kinder scout or discussing cars or guitars. Amazing way with Edward, listening to him, playing music together or chatting about chemistry… making him feel special. With Amelie you accommodated her special needs (though whipped her up in excitement before bed time!!!!) showed us true genuine friendship and support acknowledging raising a disabled child was hard and stuck by us. You were brave enough to look at Amelies teeth, so few severely learning disabled children can have access to decent dental care and same with Nicks mum with you coming to the rescue when other dentists refused to treat her in an dental emergency due to her cognitive decline. I will miss you and my boys (Nick and Edward) play fighting jujitzu in the kitchen just as food was being served up! Your caring and generous nature shone through in so many ways. The Jones household have very heavy hearts. So so thankful to have had the pleasure of Johns company and involvement in our family life… John you will be terribly missed. To. all of your family, nearest and dearest you are in my thoughts and prayers x
